Petrovaradin Fortress, located on the right bank of the Danube River in Novi Sad, Serbia, is one of the most impressive and well-preserved fortifications in Europe. Often called the “Gibraltar on the Danube,” the fortress was built in the 17th and 18th centuries by the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is known for its vast underground tunnel network, iconic clock tower with reversed hands, and stunning views of Novi Sad and the river. Today, Petrovaradin is a cultural hotspot, home to artists' studios, galleries, and museums.

11.00 - 11.15 am Transfer to Sremski Karlovci

Sremski Karlovci, the town is very important for the history of the Serbs because it was the seat of the Serbian Metropolitanate, and the seminary, the second in the Orthodox world, was founded there, as well as the Karlovac High School, the first high school among the Serbs. It is decorated with cultural monuments and institutions created mainly during the 18th and 19th centuries. Sremski Karlovci is one of the favorite places of art directors, so a large number of Serbian movies were filmed on different locations in this small lovely town.
The town has a long tradition of growing vines and producing wine. During your tour, you will have a wine tasting experience of the best local wines.
