Dr. Florina Moldovan is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Université de Montréal, a Senior Scientist and laboratory director at the research Center Azrieli of CHU Sainte Justine Hospital in Montreal. She obtained her MD from the University of Belgrade and her PhD from Université René Descartes (Paris V).
Internationally recognized for her expertise in the molecular biology of bone and cartilage and the genetics of pediatric scoliosis, her research bridges fundamental and clinical science in musculoskeletal diseases.
She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and is the recipient of numerous Canadian and international awards, including honors from the Scoliosis Research Society, the Institut de France, and the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.
