Caglar Yilgor is a spine surgeon treating both adult and pediatric spinal disorders.
He completed his residency at Hacettepe University, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
He accomplished a combined Neurosurgical and Orthopedic Spinal Surgery Fellowship program at Acibadem University Maslak Hospital, Comprehensive Spine Center.
He started his academic career as an assistant professor at Acibadem University School of Medicine in 2014 and became an Associate professor in 2018. He became a full professor in 2025 and is currently practicing in the Koc University Hospital.
Dr. Yilgor is an active member of medical associations including Scoliosis Research Society, EuroSpine, AO Spine, SOSORT, Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons and others. He is a steering committee member of AOSpine Knowledge Forum Deformity.
He has published many scientific articles, authored several book chapters and presented his research both nationally and internationally at scientific meetings. He is a reviewer for various scientific journals including JBJS, Spine, CORR, Global Spine Journal, European Spine Journal and Spine Deformity Journal.
He has received numerous national and international awards, including Young Scientist and Incentive Awards.
